The National Conscience Party

This blog is to create a new political party. A party of, for and by those who believe that politics is service to society and not to self. A party of, for and by those who believe that change starts from within. A party of,by and for those who believe that they can make a difference!

A small spark

If you were to examine the mighty ocean you will realize that it is after all made up of little drops of water. The beach is made up of tiny grains of sand. The bottom line is that every little bit helps to make the world a better place.

What such initiatives lack is the impetus and often we find people looking out for that one special person who will take the lead. Life is simply wicked because what goes around comes around. The buck stops here. We can simply point our fingers at somebody else often volunteering someone else to do the things that we should be rightfully doing but one day we will be at the receiving end of someone’s fingers and then we may have no other alternative. Life being the great leveler it is, will in all probability make our kids point their fingers at us for being the causes of their miseries. I read a beautiful poster which proclaimed “We did not inherit this planet; we have merely borrowed it from our kids”.

The National Conscience is but a little spark. If you have waited for an avenue to do something, this is a chance.

The recent farce in Parliament showed how low politicians can stoop to achieve their ends. From falling at another’s feet and in that brief moment pulling the other person done, they have done it all. Frankly conscience has been buried. It is easy to comment and wag our fingers at these criminals and thugs and whatever you may call them, but by either voting them or not exercising our votes we have let them be what they are today. It is still not too late. Wake up and lets make a difference.

The spadework

Hi! You may have seen the title and the description of this blog. For long I have cursed the politicians and the dirty cess pool that politics has become, for long many around me have said that politics is a drainage and if we get inside we will be soiled.

Agreed.

But pause for a moment and think if your drainage and sewage lines were blocked for a week...

All drains and sewers need to be cleaned. It is disheartening to know that despite the advent of modern machines men for 20 bucks strip to their loincloths and enter sewage lines to clean our muck. Please note the muck is ours and rather than waiting for some poor unfortunate to enter let us do it ourselves. As educated and informed people we have technology and so many aids that can clean this mess.

Ultimately all of us want change for the better, but let us not forget that change begins from within.

You are invited to join hands for this change.

The party as it is exists in this blog and I am the only worker till date and everyone is invited to make it real.
